SUMMER CODING CAMP

Our team is beyond excited to announce our summer coding camp, which will be held online through Zoom from the weeks of June 25th-July 30th, spanning 6 sessions and over 9 hours of learning. Students have the option to go through either a complete Java crash course or a complete Python crash course, in which they will develop a solid understanding of the language as well as develop an end-of-camp capstone project to showcase their skills (can be used at future hackathons or added to resume)!

The Future of Code's Summer Coding Camp will be open to individuals of any age wanting to learn coding from across the country! The camp will be conducted virtually over Zoom and Discord.

Our Summer Camp features two distinct tracks of learning to choose from: a complete Python crash course, or a complete Java crash course. Each track consists of 6 one and a half hour sessions each Saturday at 4:30 PM CST from June 25th-July 30th, with complete course curriculum and practice exercises provided to students. Throughout the course of the camp, students will work with instructors to develop a coding project using their language of choice to create a solution to a social justice issue. Not only are these capstone projects designed to to foster critical thinking, bolster presentation and collaboration skills, as well as hone programming knowledge, they can also be submitted at TFC's (and other organizations') hackathons.

Join TFC's Summer Camp today for access to qualified instructors, early preparation for high school Computer Science related classes' AP exams, and our prior experience working with over 150 students.
